Common-Size Balance Sheet

Free

The Call Report balance sheet with every line as a share of total assets: subtotals, balance sheet ratios, how the mix moved since the prior quarter and a year earlier, and peers measured the same way, with each line's Schedule RC item and MDRM codes.

About this dataset

Common-Size Balance Sheet is a Free dataset in the Banks group of the BankRegReports Data API. It is sourced from FFIEC Call Report Schedule RC (BankRegReports).

The bank's Call Report balance sheet (Schedule RC, as filed) with every line as a share of total assets. `detail`: each quarter served, newest first, in three sections (assets, liabilities, equity capital), each line with its amount, its share of total assets, its Schedule RC item and MDRM codes; the subtotals (cash and balances due, securities, net loans, deposits, borrowings, bank equity); the filed totals; the balance sheet ratios (loans and leases, securities, cash, deposits, noninterest-bearing deposits, borrowings and bank equity to total assets, and loans to deposits); and checks that the lines add to the filed totals and the ratios equal the published ones. Loans are shown gross with the allowance as its own negative line, so the asset shares add to 100. `changes`: how the mix moved since the prior quarter and since a year earlier (where served), each line's dollar change, growth and change in share in basis points. `peers`: one row per peer (the bank's similar banks, or the `peers` you pass), measured the same way for the same quarter, with quartiles and the bank's percentile. Shares are percent (0-100); dollar amounts are thousands.
