FFIEC 041 Call Report
The FFIEC 041 is the Consolidated Reports of Condition and Income for a Bank with Domestic Offices Only: the version of the quarterly Call Report filed by banks with domestic offices only and under $100 billion in assets. For the Q2 2026 report date, 935 banks filed it, 21.8% of the 4,297 call reports on file.
Who files the FFIEC 041
- Banks with domestic offices only and less than $100 billion in total consolidated assets, other than advanced approaches institutions.
- Banks under $5 billion that could file the FFIEC 051 but choose the FFIEC 041, or whose regulator requires it because of trading, derivatives, mortgage banking or securitization activity.
- Banks under $5 billion that are subject to Category III capital standards or are large or highly complex institutions for deposit insurance purposes.
Size tests use total assets as of June 30, and a change of form takes effect with the March report of the following year. A bank files the same form for every quarter of a given year. The full rules are in Call Report instructions, explained.
When the FFIEC 041 is due
The Q3 2026 report, as of September 30, 2026, is due October 30, 2026. The report is due 30 calendar days after each quarter-end. A deadline on a weekend moves to the next Monday, and no extensions are granted.

How it differs from the other forms
The FFIEC 041 reports every item in RCON codes, because a domestic-offices-only bank has no foreign column. Compared with the FFIEC 051 it adds six schedules: Schedule RC-A (cash and balances due), RC-D (trading assets and liabilities), RC-P (1-4 family residential mortgage banking), RC-Q (assets and liabilities at fair value), RC-S (servicing, securitization and asset sales) and RC-V (variable interest entities). It has none of the FFIEC 031's foreign-office schedules.
